A growth-oriented executive, Serge has a long-standing career and general management experience in specialty chemicals and biotech organizations for downstream industries. That experience ranges from personal care and nutrition, to pharmaceuticals and plastics. Serge brings over 20 years of recurrent and progressive success in growth turnarounds, innovation transformation, M&A integration and carve-outs for businesses up to $600mm, in Europe and North America.

Before joining Kensing, Serge worked at private equity-backed Vantage Specialty Chemicals as Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Personal Care division. While there, he fully repositioned the division through multiple acquisitions and a redesigned go-to-market strategy. Prior to Vantage, Serge was part of the team that transformed Addivant into a winning supplier of antioxidants to the global polymer industry, under the ownership of SK Capital.

Before Addivant, Serge was at BASF for seven plus years in roles of increasing responsibility in personal care and corporate strategy. His last position at BASF was Vice President of the Plastic Additives Business in North America, where he finalized the integration from Ciba and reestablished sustainable profitable growth. Serge also worked in several multinational companies from Solvay to General Electric and Eastman in Europe and North America. He is a member of the board of directors for the World Child Cancer US.

Serge has a BS in Biochemistry from Claude Bernard University in France, and an MS in Pharmaceutical Science, along with a post-graduate certificate in Business Administration from the Institut de Pharmacie Industrielle de Lyon.
