Q2 2022 Tocopherol Price Increase Announcement

Following ongoing unprecedented increases in raw material prices, Kensing will raise its tocopherol prices globally by up to 45%, depending on product type and concentration. The price increase will be effective June 1, 2022, or as permitted by contracts. All other terms and conditions of sale remain unchanged. The increase will impact all product forms and grades used in animal nutrition, human nutrition, and personal care industries.

This increase is to cover a continuing surge in raw material costs due to several global supply disruptions, including decreased soybean yields in Brazil and Argentina, decreased vegetable oil distillate (VOD) production in China due to COVID restrictions, as well as increased demand for VOD due to Ukraine-Russia war impacting sunflower oil availability.

Kensing’s main goal remains reliability of our supply by securing high-quality raw materials. As the market dynamics improve, we will remain very transparent with you in our exchanges.

If you have any questions regarding the price change, please contact your Kensing Account Manager.
