Southeast Asia Account Manager

Kensing is a new company recently carved out of BASF along with the associated manufacturing site in Kankakee, IL. Summary

An Account Manager acts as the lead point of contact and the primary liaison between the customer, our distribution network and the company. They are responsible for successful growth and management of an existing book of business within their assigned geographic market.

Responsibilities

Summary

A Inside Sales Manager promotes Kensing’s products to potential customers and converts sales leads to new opportunities via phone, email or other online channels. They are responsible for successful growth of Kensing’s opportunity pipeline within their assigned geographic market.

Production Engineer

This position is part of an eight-member engineering team responsible for daily production and operational engineering needs for the site. Each member of this engineering team will focus on capital investments, process optimization and production quality for their assigned areas. This position works with Operators, Maintenance, Supply Chain and Quality to ensure daily production needs are meet.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily production demands through troubleshooting with operator and maintenance
  • Lock out, tag out documentation completed for maintenance and shutdown activities

The Chemical Plant Lab Technician will provide quality control and assurance testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, in a safe manner, for Kensing within the scope of the ISO 9001  Quality Management System, RCMS Management System in compliance with all certification requirements (ie FSSC). They will also evaluate data using appropriate software to ensure the results meet internal and external specifications. Notify management when testing results do not meet required specifications. Support the continuous improvement of lab and plant processes through QA/QC activities to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.

E&I Technician

The E&I Technician is responsible for performing daily tasks as part of a team to ensure safe, productive, reliable, and cost-efficient maintenance of plant equipment and facilities.  In addition, these positions provide field level support for reliability efforts, innovation, and continuous improvement.  The E&I Technician executes condition monitoring of electrical equipment and grounding systems for the overall reliability program of the site.  This position is responsible for infrared and electrical grounding inspection, analysis, documentation, and reporting results. Performs duties in a manner that fosters good teamwork between maintenance and operations and is consistent with our vision of maintenance being a high-performance work team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow all Kensing corporate safety culture and procedures.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Manager will be accountable for providing the full range of Human Resources support for the manufacturing facility which includes the corporate headquarters and is responsible for the development and administration of the employee relations program, affirmative action program, talent management, organization development and employee engagement. This position interfaces with employees, government agencies and educational institutions. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the day-to-day HR management activities at the site including: Employee Relations, Benefits, Recruiting, Policy Interpretation & Implementation, Employee Engagement and Talent & Performance Management.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for onboarding and orientation of the workforce, workforce analysis, employee relations, EEOC, and other workplace investigations in a manufacturing plant setting. The Human Resources Manager will also be responsible for administration of the local collective bargaining agreements, grievance handling, organization development and talent management. This role could be full time on site or hybrid.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent degree is preferred. SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in human resources with experience in manufacturing/industrial organizations including union dealings is required.

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing unplanned work and developing job plans to drive work execution efficiency and asset availability. This includes generating work steps with labor, material, equipment, and services, estimating labor and material costs; creating job packets for field execution and continually improving job plans via updates based upon feedback from the Execution Teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage the backlog of unplanned work:
    • Review the backlog and planning list.
    • Clarify incomplete or unclear work notifications.
    • Group work orders and/or notifications together that can be planned and completed as a single order.
    • Determine the appropriate degree of planning.
    • Utilize the proper SAP status codes including work order start and finish dates to allow proper scheduling of the work order.
  • Work Order Planning:
    • Create job plans for the effective execution of work by providing job scopes, job step sequence, labor and material requirements, skill requirements, specifying the necessary tools and equipment, external resources, and determining work order costs.
    • Identify permitting requirements and special isolation needs.
    • Create task lists (job plan library) for recurring jobs.

    • Review work scopes for changes which would result in triggering a Management of Change (MoC)
    • Create Job Packets as needed by providing spec sheets, vendor manuals, P&IDs, pictures, isolation plans, job plan/feedback form, etc.

    • Create job plans for the effective execution of turnaround projects: job scopes, job step sequence, labor and material requirements, skill requirements, specifying the necessary tools and equipment, external resources, and determining work order costs

This role will play a critical part in managing the day to day activities in the accounting functions of the business, including leading the month end close process, assisting in establishing product costing standards, budgeting, and financial reporting activities across the entire company.  This position reports to the Kensing LLC VP & Corporate Controller.

Capital Project Manager

The Project Manager is an experienced project leader and is accountable for overall project implementation activities.
