Vistasterol S-80®

Vitasterol® is an innovative functional ingredient that can be added to food supplements and applications to help lower cholesterol.

Plant sterol esters have been one of the first to obtain approval from the European Commission for their health claim according to Regulation 1924/2006/EC. Foods such as yellow fat spreads (margarines), mayonnaise, salad dressings, rice drinks, rye bread and dairy products as well as supplements, according to European Regulation 2018/1023.
