Alejandro Abad
Vice President of SNVE
As Senior Vice President of SNVE, Alejandro oversees the Sterols and Natural Vitamin E business unit. He leads a global operation with customers across all regions and various industries, supported by four locations on three continents. With over twenty years of experience in the industry, Alejandro has the insights necessary to drive growth through Kensing’s unique portfolio and extensive product offerings.
Previously, Alejandro co-founded and served as the CEO of Advanced Organic Materials (AOM). He started AOM in 2002 and led the company’s development until its acquisition by Kensing in 2023. During his tenure, Alejandro was directly involved in product and process development, commercial strategy, financial management, and the cultivation of key talent for the company’s growth. After establishing the company’s foundation in Argentina, he successfully planned and executed its international expansion with a new site in Valencia, Spain. He also played an essential role in the development of the Sun E product (Sunflower derived Vitamin E), which has become one of the industry’s most significant product introductions in recent years, addressing the demand for clean-label solutions.
Alejandro holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
