Effective May 3rd, 2021, Serge Rogasik has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Kensing, LLC with headquarters in Kankakee, IL.

Serge has a longstanding career and successful track record in the personal care and specialty chemicals industries. From 2006-2009, Serge served as the Global Marketing Director for Beauty Care Solutions; from 2009-2011, he served as the Director of Corporate Strategy for BASF North America; and from 2011-2013, he served as the Vice President of the Plastic Additives business within the Performance Chemicals division. After his tenure at BASF, Serge joined Addivant, a private equity-backed manufacturer of additives and stabilizers for the polyethylene, polyurethane and tire markets, as Executive Vice President and General Manager overseeing all product lines. Addivant was a carve-out from Chemtura and was successfully merged with SI Group after achieving its growth targets. Most recently, Serge led the Personal Care division of another private equity-backed company, Vantage Specialty Chemicals, where he repositioned the Personal Care division to be more competitive, redesigned its go-to-market strategy, and achieved impressive growth in revenue and profit.

Serge will bring the same operational rigor, commercial expertise and strategic vision to Kensing and we are thrilled to have him on board. The feeling is mutual and Serge is eager to dig in and look for opportunities to work with the team to achieve a successful carve-out from BASF and establish Kensing as a world-class, standalone business poised for significant growth going forward.
